I started this joint replacement centre with a dream of providing worldclass joint replacement services - avialable to all & affordable to all.
With an eminent joint replacement team, our centre is one of the foremost sought joint repalcment centre in the region.
The Joint Replacement Surgery division of the orthoplus speciality hospital is one of the premiere centre for joint replacement in the region, performing an average of 400 joint replacements every year. This centre has dedicated operation theatre (apart from the other theatre) with the state-of-the-art infrastructure necessary to carry out complex orthopaedic procedures.
Headed by renowned joint replacement Surgeon Dr Pareen Kantesaria , the Joint Replacement department comprises of a large, experienced and skilled team of- SURGEON, DEDICATED PATIENT COUNSELLOR AND COORDINATOR, INPATIENT COORDINATOR , DEDICATED PAIN MANAGEMENT STAFF, PHYSIOTHERAPIST AND DEDICATED PATIENT CARE MANAGER.
Primary and Revision Total Knee Replacements and Hip Replacements are carried out on a daily basis. Primary total knee replacements are done using the latest and best implants available in the market, catering to the individual needs of the patient and also suitable to his or her budget. This includes high flexion designs, ultra-congruent implants with mobile or fixed inserts.
The arthroplasty team is backed by a dedicated team of support staff to offer extensive counselling to the patients undergoing joint replacement surgery, both before and after surgery. A dedicated team of Physiotherapists are available to provide their care & services both within the hospital premises and also with personal visits to the patient’s’ home. With the significant number of joint replacements being performed, our Centre for Joint Replacement Surgery realises its duty towards good clinical practice and clinical development.
Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs are conducted on a regular basis by the Institute to share their experience and knowledge in the field of joint replacement surgery. Seminars and classes on surgical instrumentation are organised on a regular basis.
