AOSpine long term fellowship - park clinic Kolkata.
AOSPINE is an INTERNATIONAL community of spine surgeons generating, distributing, and exchanging knowledge to advance science and the spine care profession through research, education, and community development. With this collaborative approach AOSpine continues to advance spine care worldwide. In India, AOSPINE had established few centre for research and advance spine training. Out of these, only AT PARK CLINIC KOLKATA has longest duration – 1year fellowship for advanced spine training. This centre is well-known for complex spine surgery like kyphoscoliosis and minimal invasive surgery. Surgeon has did his training from this AOSPINE centre for long term duration fellowship under mentorship of Dr Saumyajit Basu.
Research and Presentation
He had presented his various research-pappers in national and international conferences of spine and written a chapter for - Approach for Osteoporotic vertebral fracture. He was AWARDED for - AOSPINE INDIA RESEARCH GRANT 2013 …as a chief researcher. One of the researched technique (during his fellowship- mentorship of Dr Basu) of cement augmentation/vertebroplasty for treatment of Aneurysmal bone cyst(bone tumour) of spine was published in well known-national journal.
Experience
He has vast experience of various spine surgery over 5 year. He has done more than 1000 spinal procedure and surgeries which include complex spine surgery of kyphoscoliosis and minimally invasive spine surgery.
